ABOUT BESIGE SAMBRAM PROGRAMME
#About Besige Sambram#
Besige Sambram is a newly introduced programme by the Educational Department of Karnataka for the students of 6th&7th standard.It is created for attracting children towards govt schools&have some basic learning&some fun in summer at schools with the current running mid day meal programme&Students hidden co curricular/cultural activities to be brought out during this programme.
For every 25 student attendance, 1 assistant teacher(25:1) has allotted as a Sambeam Teacher at present school with existing HMs for MDM.
If student attendance will exceed from every 25 , one more assistant teacher will depute again&so on.Today attended HMs&assistants for Besige Sambram training are fixed to this programme.All others remaining assistant/s are kept pending/in waiting list. If necessary they will be get a call from department to give service.
This programme starts from 17/04/2017 &end up by 27/05/2017.This programme is framed with the help of 'PRATHAM' organisation&TLMs are printed at&provided by govt press.Each Besige Sambram school will get a grant of 1,000Rs.Each school have to create an awareness in public,parents, children,media(if possible) regarding this programme&Motive 6th&7th class students to join the programme.
(Send must an MDM Message regularly on all working days as in regular format for attended students for all classes).
It has programme schedule for 5weeks starting from 17/04/17 to 27/05/17.Every week has a unique& a meaningful topic.You will be provided all necessary Pre Printed Teaching Learning Materials&5weeks Topic matters will be given by the department.It is your creativeness to add more to these given activities if you wish to do more.
*Topics for 5weeks are as follows:
1st week- Family.
2nd week-Water.
3rd week-Food.
4th week-Health&hygiene.
5th week-Environment.
*Periods' Time table for Besige Sambram.
1st Period-9a.m.-9.15a.m
(15min).
2nd Period-9.15a.m.-10a.m.(45min).
Rest time-10a.m.-10.15a.m.(15min).
3rd Period-10.15a.m.-11a.m.(45min).
4th Period-11a.m.-11.45a.m.(45min).
5th Period-11.45a.m.-12p.m.(15min).
Note:
*Daily 5 periods.
*1st&5th periods are of 15minutes each.
*2nd,3rd&4th periods are of 45minutes each.
*After 2nd Period,15minutes break on everyday.
(On all 5weeks,First 5days are teaching days&6th day is treated as Fun-day/cultural activity day.It may include singing,dancing,drama,uni-simulation,craft,drawing, mimicry,pottery,story telling&etc activities).
*Every Teaching Day Activities:
•1st period is of Para Card Reading.
•2nd period is of Reading a given paragraph/story.Discussing of questions in individual groups&finally giving answers for those questions individually.
•3rd perod is of Applied Maths/solving problems which are in verbal form.
•4th period is of Do-learn(Maadi Kali) activity.
•5th period is of Rapid Maths(Fast calculations regarding basic Maths/arithmetic skills).
*Teaching day with dates:
•1st week:Apr-18,19,20,21,22&fun day on 24.
•2nd week:Apr-25,26,27,28.
Mar-2& fun day on 03.
•3rd week:May-4,5,6,8,9&fun day on 11.
•4th week-May-12,13,15,16,17&fun day on 18.
•5th week-MY-19,20,22,23,24&fun day on 25.
Extra days:May-26,27.
*Govt. Holidays List during Summer Jollity Programme:
•Apr-13(Sunday).
•Apr-29(Basava Jayanti).
•Apr-30(Sunday).
•May-01(Labours Day).
•May-10(Buddha Poornima).
•May-14(Sunday).
•May-21(Sunday).
Note:
•Take pre test only once for 6th&7th class students.
•First take pre test for 6th&7th students who will arrive on 17/04/17& further take daywise pre test for new comers once on 18/04/17 ,19/04/17&20/04/17 as they will join the programme on whichever day.
*Evaluate the pre test question paper cum answer paper with filling grids(boxes)only with a right tick mark for each answer for questions which are given below the test question paper.
*Pre test&Pro test question paper details:
Two series pre test question papers&two series pro test question papers are there for testing the basic knowledge of attended students of 6th&7th classes.
*Give Consecutive Series of 1&2 for all attended students on pre test.
(That means if 'x' is a first student, give him a series-1 pre test question paper&for next student 'y' give series-2 question paper&follow this question paper order consecutively).
*Plz note, give the same series test question paper for both pre test&pro test for every attended students.
Ex: If Ramesh(a one of student name of 6th/7th class) is pre tested with series-1 question paper in pre test must be given series-1 pro test question paper as a pro test question paper.
*Marks Giving System:
•If student wrote/read completely without any mistakes or either/with 2/3 mistakes will be considered for 2marks.
•If students wrote/read answer incompletely or attended with more than 3 mistakes will be considered for 1 mark.
•If students fails to answer/fails to read completely or not attempted at all will be considered for 0 mark.
*Teacher should not give directly marks,fill only the marks grids among 0,1/2 with a right tick mark below the related grid/boxes where space is given for entering right tick mark for each question on bottom of pre test.
*On 20/04/17 you must give the all pre test attended students statistics as in the prescribed format to your respective CRP with analysis of total number of students who have scored 0 marks,scored 1 marks& scored 2 marks.
*Other Notes:
Take the pro test on 26/05/17&evaluate those test papers with ticking the below/bottom grids among 0/1/2 marks as per students answer in pro-test question paper cum answer paper. Give the attended common students(students who will attend pre test as well as pro test are only considered as common students) statistics as in same pre described format.
