75TH REPUBLIC DAY OF INDIA- SPEECH FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

About Republic Day of India in English:

  Good Morning everybody. I wish 'Happy 75rd Republic Day' to you all. I would like to say something on this happy occasion of 'Republic Day of India'.

 Respected Head Master sir ,All Volunteer guests, All my teachers, friends and who have arrived here to participate in Flag hoisting event I heartily welcome and convey my well greetings to all of you on this special day. 

   26th January is the 'Red Letter Day' in the Indian history & it is celebrated as Indian Republic Day every year.We all Indians show our dignity&respect to the National Flag of India that get unfurled on this special day on several places in India that include Govt Offices, institutes,schools,colleges, banks& many more places. This day is celebrated all over the country on this day.

   It is true that our India obtained its Independence on  15th August in 1947.We accepted our constitution on Nov 26 in 1949 but the Constitution of India came into force on 26th January in 1950. The Constitution of India was formally adopted by the Parliament of India and India declared itself as a ‘Republic Country’ on January 26,1950, thereafter this day is being celebrated as Republic Day in India every year.

     Dr.B.R.Ambedkar&his team given us this constitution by studying constitutions of various countries like Ireland,Canada, France, Australia,America &etc. Indian constitution is the lengthiest constitution among all countries constitution. It shows equality,directive principles for state, social justice for all&etc. To mark this occasion, a grand parade will be organized in New Delhi that starts from Raisina Hill near the Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace), along the Rajpath, Past India Gate and end on to the historic Red Fort in the old quarter of the city. Different infantry, cavalry and mechanized regiments of the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force march in formation, decked in all their finery and official decorations. The President of India, who is also the Commander in Chief of the Indian Armed Forces, takes the salute.

    Usually, the parade is a lively event with more than 1,00,000 people attending. Every year a chief guest will be invited from other country to fulfill the meaning of 'Athithi Devo Bhava'. Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of France, will be visiting India as the Chief Guest for the 75th Republic Day celebrations.

    This is the day which is celebrated in India& every Indian will show their respect&pride towards the National Constitution that came into force on this same day.

    I honour our constitution & I am proud to be an Indian. Thank you to all of you for giving me some time to share my own few words with you all. Lets enjoy this pride moment.
