(died in one week after birth).
(So, commonly known as he had only 1 daughter).

He became Prime Minister of India by Aug 14,1947 (upto May 27,1964).

He was awarded with the Indian Highest Civilian Award BHARAT RATNA in 1955.

His Birth Day is celebrated as Children's Day (Bal Divas) in India all over the country.

He was fond of children& rose.

KARNATAKA TET FULL DETAILS:

*TET Full form:-
TEACHERS ELIGIBILITY TEST.

*Karnataka TET (KTET) is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class 1-5) & upper    primary (class 6-8) in the state of Karnataka.

KTET  QUALIFICATIONS:-

For Paper I:
*Teachers of classes for 1-5(Paper I) candidates should have passed in senior secondary /its equivalent with at least 45% marks.
*Those appears in final-
2year Diploma in Elementary Education/
4year Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed)/
2year Diploma in Education in special Education are also eligible. OR

FOR PAPER II:
candidates with B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks( for General&OBC) &45% marks( for SC,ST&C1) and B.Ed. qualification can also apply.

NOTE:
*TET is compulsory for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates to be considered for teachers jobs in schools run by the Government & private managements.
*Candidates who are studying in Final Year of D.Ed. &B.Ed. can also apply.

KTAT RELATED DATES:
*Application starting Date 20-04-2014.
